I was really looking forward to this cruise and expected it to feel a lot more relaxing and special than it did. Unfortunately, the whole experience just didn’t live up to what I had in mind. For the price and the hype, I thought it would be much better, but it ended up being disappointing overall. I wouldn’t say it was worth it...

The entertainment was fun overall. I mean, we definitely had a good time, but there were a few nights where it felt kind of slow and I found myself waiting for things to pick up a bit. Still enjoyable though, just maybe not super exciting every single night

We really enjoyed the cruise itself, but the flight arrangements through Viking were kind of a clown show. The times changed more than once, and the layover ended up being way longer than we expected. Customer service did answer when we called, so I’ll give them that, but they couldn’t really fix much. In the end, we got there and back fine, but for the price, I expected the whole thing to be a lot smoother. I’d probably just book my own flights next time and avoid the headache.

Most of the shore excursions were really good and the guides definitely knew what they were talking about, we learned a lot and had a great time, one stop did feel a little rushed which was kind of a bummer but overall we enjoyed the experience and would book again.

I was expecting someone to show up within the time they gave me, or at least reach out if there was a delay. Instead, I ended up waiting around for hours and nobody came. Frustrating experience, especially since I planned my day around it.

I was surprised by how many places Viking goes. I started out thinking maybe Europe, then somehow I was looking at Asia, then river cruises, then ocean cruises, it turned into a whole little travel rabbit hole. Picking a trip was actually fun because there was so much to compare. My only small gripe is that a few of the dates I wanted didn’t have as many options as I hoped, but overall the variety is really solid.

Boarding was smooth overall. We did end up standing around for a little while before they called us, but it wasn’t a big deal. Everything seemed to move along fine once it got started

The cruise itself was okay, but the tour guide really dragged the whole experience down. He didn’t seem very confident with even basic facts and kept reading off notes, which would’ve been fine if he wasn’t still mixing up dates and places. A few people asked normal questions and he’d either brush them off or say he’d check and come back to it, then never did. For the price, expecting a guide who actually knows the area doesn’t feel unreasonable. It was ridiculous and definitely disappointing...

We booked our excursions through vikingcruises.com thinking it would make everything easy, but the whole day ended up being chaotic. We got up early, grabbed breakfast, and headed out ready to explore, only to find out the schedule had changed. Then the buses were late, and every staff member we asked seemed to have a different answer. At one point, we were just standing around with a bunch of other confused passengers, checking our watches and wondering if we should even keep waiting. By the time things finally got moving, it felt like we had already wasted half the day. Really disappointing, especially since excursions are supposed to be one of the highlights of the trip.

I had to cancel my trip, and getting the refund back was a lot slower and more confusing than I expected, haha. It did eventually get sorted out, but the process could’ve been clearer.

The ship was super clean. Like, noticeably clean. Bathrooms too, they stayed nice the whole time, which isn’t always the case on trips like this. Simple thing, but it made a big difference.

The staff on our Viking cruise were mostly polite and professional, and a few really stood out for being helpful and on top of things, especially during dinner and check-in. That said, some of the staff almost made it feel like our questions were a bit of an inconvenience. It wasn’t anything awful, but for what we paid, I guess I expected the service to feel a little warmer and more polished across the board.

I booked and paid through Viking Cruises, it was mostly a smooth process. I’m usually a little picky about travel booking sites because I like everything spelled out clearly, especially when money is involved. The billing details were easy enough to follow, and my receipt came through quickly. I did have to double-check one charge that caught my eye, but support explained it without any hassle. Overall, I’d say it was a good experience with no major problems.

I thought the stops were really nice overall, and I’m glad we got to see everything we did. But it felt a bit rushed at times, like we didn’t quite have enough time to actually enjoy each place. Maybe it’s just me, but I would’ve loved a little more breathing room in the schedule

The talks were boring, and I didn’t feel like I got much useful information out of them. I was hoping to leave with new ideas or something practical to take away, but instead it just felt like a waste of time. I ended up feeling disappointed because I really wanted it to be better.

We were really pleased with the dining on our Viking cruise. Breakfast had plenty of options, and dinner always tasted fresh instead of feeling like typical mass-prepared cruise food. After a day or two, the staff even remembered what we liked, which was a really nice touch. The desserts were probably my favorite part. Overall, we were happy with everything and wouldn’t hesitate to say the food was a big plus.

In my experience, the accessibility support was really great. I felt like they actually understood what I needed and made the whole process much easier than I expected.

The ship was clean and comfy, so I’ll give them that. But for what they charge, the amenities felt kind of basic, like they didn’t really try that hard. The pool area also got packed way too fast, which made it less relaxing than it should’ve been.
